What is the difference between a Wet Switch and a float switch?

A Wet switch is a type of water sensor that uses a moisture-sensitive pad to detect the presence of water. It is typically used to detect leaks or flooding in HVAC systems or other areas where water damage can occur. You need to pay attention to choosing Plastic Injection Components with waterproof performance, high temperature resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance.

A Float switch, on the other hand, uses a buoyant object (such as a ball or cylinder) to detect the presence of water. When the water level rises, the float rises with it and triggers a switch that can turn off a pump or activate an alarm.

The main difference between the two is the method of detection. Wet switches use a moisture-sensitive pad, while float switches use a buoyant object. Both types of sensors are effective at detecting water, but the choice between them will depend on the specific application and the preferences of the user.
